JIBS envisions to benefit both students and teachers by helping them to grow as well informed and critical thinkers and apply their potentials for educational opportunities and community engagement. We aim to achieve this by fulfilling the following objectives:
- To expand and strengthen interdisciplinary, collaborative research between behavioural scientists and other disciplines.
- Assure a cohesive, multidisciplinary, critical mass of behavioural science investigators to provide training to teachers, students, schools, NGOs, colleges, and other organizations on mental health, victim assistance, performance enhancement, stress management, competency development, disability rehabilitation and understanding various dimensions of human behaviour.
- Focus research on issues related to high-risk, underserved and minority populations in India and abroad.
