Vipin Vijay Nair is an In-Service Doctoral Research Scholar and Research Fellow at Jindal Institute of Behavioural Sciences, O. P. Jindal Global University. Prior to joining JGU, he was working as an Analyst in XL Catlin, a multinational organisation that deals in risks associated with insurance policy management across globe. He received his Master’s in Criminology from LNJN National Institute of Criminology and Forensic Sciences, GGSIPU, where he was awarded University Silver medal for his academic and research vigour. He has qualified UGC-NET lectureship (Criminology) in 2016 and was invited as a resource person at two-day National workshop on “Career Advancement in Criminology”. He has shown a keep interest in the field of research and have presented in number of national and international conference in the field of Criminology and Victimology. He has been awarded as Silver Medallist in Best Scientific Research paper organised at 38th National Conference of Indian Society of Criminology in 2015.
He has been associated with JGU since 2018 and has offered courses on Victimology as Research Fellow at Jindal Global Law School, O. P. Jindal Global University. He has shown his teaching interest in the field of victimology, criminology, penology and criminal justice system. He is keen on promoting research in the field of Victimology and Criminology, with active involvement in the Centre of Victimology and Psychological studies at Jindal Institute of Behavioural Sciences, JGU. He is currently affiliated as member of few national and international organisation in the field of criminology and victimology like World Society of Victimology, Indian Society of Criminology, Indian Criminology & Forensic Science Association and others. He is dedicated in contributing inter-disciplinary work in the field of Victimology and Criminology by working on articles, essays and research papers.
